چکیده

In the present study, insert materials manufactured with a 3D printer were used to increase strength of T-type adhesive joints, which have an important area use in aviation and aerospace applications. Experiments carried out for 3 different overlap lengths bending radius. addition unreinforced samples, 4 material designs each length: solid-reinforced model, hollow reinforced vertically horizontally model. PLA was as AL 5754 3M DP460 adherend respectively. As result experiments, it determined that reinforcement increased joint significantly. It has been model increases most is

Bio-inspired detoxification using 3D-printed hydrogel nanocomposites

Rationally designed nanoparticles that can bind toxins show great promise for detoxification. However, the conventional intravenous administration of nanoparticles for detoxification often leads to nanoparticle accumulation in the liver, posing a risk of secondary poisoning especially in liver-failure patients. Here we present a liver-inspired three-dimensional (3D) detoxification device. This ...

Distinct failure modes in bio-inspired 3D-printed staggered composites under non-aligned loadings

The superior mechanical properties of biological materials originate in their complex hierarchical microstructures, combining stiff and soft constituents at different length scales. In this work, we employ a three-dimensional multi-materials printing to fabricate the bio-inspired staggered composites, and study their mechanical properties and failure mechanisms. We observe that bioinspired stag...

An Experimental Study on the Tensile Behaviors of Ultrasonic Welded T-joints for Polyamide Composite

In this paper, an experimental investigation on ultrasonic welding of polyamide composites reinforced with glass fiber has been carried out. The effect of ultrasonic welding parameters, such as welding time, air pressure, hold time and the amount of glass fiber in the composite on tensile strength of weld joints were determined using response surface methodology. This methodology was applied fo...

Acoustic properties of 3D printed bio-degradable micro-perforated panels made of Corkwood Fiber-Reinforced composites

Introduction: Micro perforated panel (MPP) absorbents promise the next generation of sound absorbers as they have significant advantages over other porous adsorbents. In this study, we will investigate the acoustic performance of MPP absorbents made of biodegradable polylactic acid composite reinforced with natural corkwood fibers (PLA/Corkwood) by 3D printing technology. Material and Methods:...
